Hello! I’m Maddy, I’m a married woman in my early forties who came from the US a few years ago and lost her heart to this beautiful city, Antalya. After we decided to settle here, Antalya Airport (AYT) has become more than just a destination for us, it has become the gateway to our home.

However, I have to admit that at first, it was sometimes difficult to find accurate and up-to-date information about the complex structure of the airport, the ever-changing services, transfer options or the facilities inside. ‘How can we get to the city in the easiest way?’, “Where can we have a quick coffee here?”, “How late is that shop open?”, etc. We lost some time searching for answers to these questions.

I decided to prepare this guide based on my own experiences and those ‘what should I do?’ moments I experienced as a foreigner who settled here. My aim is to make the airport process as easy and enjoyable as possible for everyone who comes to Antalya for holiday, business or visit. I want you to feel at home as soon as you set foot in Antalya.

If you are coming to Antalya for the first time, I am sure you will be mesmerised by the magic of this place and you will want to come back again. It is my greatest wish that this guide will guide you in your first steps.
