Antalya Airport is a major international airport located in southern Turkey, on the Mediterranean coast, which stands out with its busy tourism season, especially during the summer months. Antalya Airport is located in Güzelbag neighbourhood of Muratpaşa district, east of the city centre. The airport is approximately 13 kilometres from Antalya city centre and is very easy to reach.
Antalya Airport is the busiest airport in the Mediterranean Region in terms of both passengers and number of flights. It serves tourists from Germany, England, Russia and Central European countries throughout the year.
Antalya Airport has three runways.
Runway 1 (18L/36R) and Runway 2 (18C/36C): It is 3400 metres long and suitable for landing and take-off of large-bodied aircraft.
Runway 3 (18R/36L): 2990 metres long and serves mainly domestic and short-haul international flights.
All runways are equipped with modern systems in accordance with ICAO standards.
Antalya Airport has a total of 3 terminal buildings.
Domestic Terminal (Terminal D)
Serving intercity flights within Turkey, this terminal is used by domestic airlines such as THY, Pegasus, AnadoluJet and SunExpress. The terminal has check-in counters, security control areas, rest areas and restaurants.
International Terminal 1 (Terminal A)
This terminal is used for international passengers travelling to and from Antalya, especially for flights from Europe. The terminal has large passport control areas, duty-free shops and spacious seating areas.
Condor, SunExpress, Corendon, TUI Fly, EasyJet, Norwegian, Jet2, Ryanair, Smartwings, Pegasus (for international flights) airlines use Terminal 1.
International Terminal 2 (Terminal B)
This terminal, which is used to meet the increasing tourist density in the summer months, is especially used for charter and seasonal flights. Terminal 2 has modern lounges and duty-free shops.
Azur Air, Nordwind Airlines, Red Wings, Aeroflot, Ural Airlines, Pobeda, Freebird Airlines, iFly, Turkish Airlines (some international flights) use Terminal 2 for international flights.
